## math++ for

6th Grade

Students in sixth grade are now proficient in adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. They can represent quantities in a variety of ways and can vocally define positive rational numbers. Sixth graders can apply percentages in real-life situations like shopping for a good deal or tipping their servers. Ratio and Proportion help them to measure and express quantities in easier terms.

These pupils should be able to determine if a precise response is required or whether an estimate will be enough, and explain why.
