{igebra.ai} ignites a passion for Data and AI in students with the kickstarting of the Data and AI Talks Competition at MM School in Raipur.
On April 3rd, 2023, {igebra.ai}, a Math + Data + AI Thinking company, hosted the orientation of its highly anticipated Data and AI Talks competition at MM School in Raipur. The session was attended by around 80 students from grades 5 to 10 who showed immense enthusiasm and curiosity about the world of artificial intelligence.
The {igebra.ai} team kicked off the event by introducing the concept of artificial intelligence in a simple and easy-to-understand manner. The team explained recent technologies that are using AI and how the world is changing around us because of data and AI. They were delighted to find that several students already had an understanding of AI and its benefits, including knowledge about autonomous vehicles like Tesla.
The team also highlighted the significant differences between humans and AI, emphasizing how creativity and critical thinking are exclusive of human abilities. They explained that AI can only learn from the data that it is fed and can never take over the capabilities of humans.
In addition to the orientation, the team briefed the students on the Data and AI competition, where students will be required to come up with unique ideas for AI-powered products and services. They shared instructions on how to participate and how to present their ideas. The students were thrilled and eager to participate in the competition, with some already sharing their ideas for AI-powered products.
The Data and AI Talks competition aims to encourage students to explore the beauty of data and AI, empowering them to not only use these technologies effectively but also to create AI systems that make a positive impact in the world. The {igebra.ai} team is excited to see the creativity and innovation that the students will bring to the competition. The first round of competition will be held in June and the final round will be held on July 31st at the Host School N.H. Goel World School.
